#Sponsored Welch's: Share What's Good and a $50 Photo Giftcard Giveaway

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch's. I received product samples to facilitate my review, a gift code to giveaway, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

My mother cooked and baked many things growing up, but bread and rolls were never her forte. When I got married I quickly learned that my mother in law was great at baking biscuits and homemade rolls. Her rolls are so good that people request them every holiday and get together. After a couple of years of marriage my mother in law was kind enough to lend me her recipe. To me the roll recipe spells family, which is something that is very important to me. Cooking and baking have always been apart of my favorite everyday memories and something that I have passed down to my kids.

Right now Welch's wants to share "in the magic of 'kitchen table' moments." They want to emphasis those little moments such as baking my mother in law's rolls that happen throughout the day. They have launched a new movement called "Share What's Good". At Sharewhatsgood.com you’ll find a variety of great content from fun family ideas to delicious recipes. You can also share your photos and see what other people have posted. I have included my mother's in-laws recipe below and two photos of my "Share What's Good" moments.

My Share What's Good Moment - Walking with My Kids in Ritter Park
My Share What's Good Moment - Walking with My Kids in Ritter Park

In addition to cooking my family enjoys spending time at our local parks, especially during the summer. Often I will cook dinner (with sides such as my mother-in-law's rolls) and then once the temps cool down we will go for a walk. This is a picture that I took while talking a family walk at Ritter Park. I love talking walks with my family since we can enjoy spending time with each other while ensuring that we all stay healthy. It's a great way to spend quality active time on the weekends.

As mother of two growing boys I love capturing memories with my camera. Right now you can a $50 photo gift card towards a popular Online Photo Service where they can share their own moment through Photo Books, Cards & Stationery, Prints, Calendars, Photo Gifts and more. Just enter through the rafflecopter form below. Good luck!

  4. Your rolls look insanely delicious! I haven't had rolls in a while so I'll have to give your recipe a try. I like to spend everyday moments with my husband after we get home from work and check on the garden and walk around the property. It's a great way to spend time together doing something we love and reconnect after being away from each other all day.

  6. I spend time with the kids doing the things they like to do. Right now the big thing for my daughter is making Kandi (bead bracelets) and Legos are THE 'it' thing for my little guy right now. They talk a lot when they're doing something they like, and I like that. :)

  7. I love spending time with the kids outdoors. It gives me a chance to get outside as well. I'm a huge fan of Welch's. I remember drinking the grape juice when I was younger and how much I loved the taste, now I buy it for the kids as well. Madison loves the white grape juice as well. Hope you're having a great week!

  8. A good homemade biscuit always makes me smile. My mother wasn't a baker either. Spending time with your children on a pretty day is a very pleasurable experience.

  10. I love park time with my boys too. The challenge with two that are three years apart is keeping the little one from trying the (sometimes dangerous) things the bigger one is doing like jumping off tall play structures. YIKES! I've been trying to get my mother-in-law to give me her yeast recipie for years. Can't wait to try these!
