GiveBack's 100 Days of Giving
I am one of those individuals that always has good intentions, but have so many things going on that I can be horrible about the follow through. Charity giving is one of the areas that I tend to be the worst about putting off/forgetting. When I have the extra money to give, I can't think of who to give to, or I decide it's too much of a hassle to actually follow through. Recently, when I learned through the One2One network about giveback.org and its 100 days of giving campaign, I was intrigued.
Signing up with GiveBack is very easy, and only takes three simple steps. You can pick the charities that you care about and easily donate money by directly giving with your credit card, by shopping on-line with one of 400 mall partners, or by engaging with GiveBack's sponsers. Even better, right now they are in the middle of their 100 days of giving campaign and everyday through July 16th one GiveBack member will win $1000 for their personal foundation (the charity that the individual has chosen on their site).
Additionally, they have created an "impact points" program that tracks members who spread the word about the project and get others to join. At the end of the campaign the person who has earned the highest number of points will earn $50,000 to be deposited in their GiveBack account to donate to the charity of their choosing.
